THE APPLICATION OF KAMBO AND WHAT TO EXPECT DURING YOUR TREATMENT
Kambo is applied through ‘gates’. Your top superficial layers of the skin will be opened first with a hot natural incense stick in the shape of a small circle (a burn comparable to a mosquito bite) and then wiped away to create the “gate”. The secretion will be applied directly onto the gate, absorbed, and distributed quite quickly through the lymphatic system. Kambo is intense, but fast. The unpleasant effects are strong and immediate, but over within 20-40 minutes. Clients report experiences of increased heart rate, fast dilation of the blood vessels possibly causing a pounding or rushing sensation (either to the whole body, or concentrated towards the area where the gates are placed), possible heated genitalia area (this is a normal response to toxins entering the body, most commonly reported during the administering of medical anesthesia), possible slight to medium swelling of the lips and face (in some cases the swelling is quite pronounced, and clients have even “taken on the look of a frog”), skin tingling, possible dizziness, possible “whiting-out” or passing out), and some clients report receiving insights and messages. You will then purge (vomit, or BM, or both) out the toxins which have collected in your liver. The purge works on both the physical and emotional levels. This work can be exhausting for some, and extremely energizing for others. A rest is usually needed after your process, although clients have reported the desire to run, frolick, jump, dance, etc. Some feel the health benefits immediately, including experiencing heightened senses (sight, taste), and others within 24-48 hours following the session. Always trust the frog to do it’s work.
WILL I HALLUCINATE?
No. Kambo is not a psychoactive, psychopharmaceutical, or psychotropic chemical substance. These are denoted as a substance that changes brain function and results in alterations in perception, mood, consciousness, cognition, or behavior.
HOW OFTEN SHOULD I HAVE KAMBO TREATMENTS?
This varies and can be discussed one-on-one with me.
